About the guest speaker:
Vladimir Vlaev is a performer, composer and audio artist based in Den Haag, Netherlands. He is currently focused on the development of several different real-time DSP systems for live electronics using acoustic sound as initial source. The interest in a variety of musical languages, forms and abilities for expression provokes him to use different types of media to present his musical ideas. This is evident in his works with sound which vary from instrumental compositions, through electroacoustic music for fixed media to live electronics performance and development of new instruments.
Former teacher of music, music theory and acoustics, and guitar at schools in Bulgaria, including the National School of Arts “Dobri Hristov” in Varna.
Vladimir Vlaev’s solid academic background includes:
Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv, (Bulgaria) – in Music Education, Media Music Editing, Composition.
Karol Lipinski Academy of Music, Wroclaw (Poland) – in Computer composition, Electroacoustic music.

Public talks on a variety of topics by local and foreign presenters. We are aiming to create healthy discussion forums, exchange opinions, involve foreign diaspora, help improve fluency in a range of key languages, especially by young people. We have selected as venues the local spots which these languages and their cultures inhabit. Organised by Amorpha Youth Foundation and partners.
