‘FLYING JELLYFISH & FRAGRANT CAKES’
First Solo Exhibition by Young Street Artist Ina VALENTINOVA
AMORPHA first collaborated with young artist Ina Valentinova in 2010. Following her participation in the large-scale graffiti and street art festival for visual transformation of the city waterfront wall at Varna Port, organised by Amorpha and partners, our team continues to work with this talented visual artist. Impressed by her distinct and authentic style and artistic topics, we decided to organise and host her first solo exhibition at Arhis Gallery, the urban art space we have managed for a few years. It is our belief that this space which has hosted many local, national and international rising urban artists, will be the best starting point for this talented individual and so far one of the few female urban artists in Bulgaria.
*****
Visionally esoteric first solo exhibition by Ina Valentinova. Young street artist, born and bred in the cultuarally loaded town of Ruse, Ina bravely discovers new worlds in newer colours and where that is not enough – sees and imagines them elsewhere.
After embarking on yet another hitchhiking experience, she finally reaches the sea holding her beloved philosophy by the hand, to lay bare before us the intricate questions and answers of jellyfish.
The exhibition will most likely open with fragrant cakes some time around sunset with the early evening breeze.
Various media, surfaces and dimensions.
